Mechanical Engineering Intern
Electric Era is designing, building, and testing high power, battery-enabled charging stations to provide the necessary infrastructure needed for the affordable and timely electrification of transportation. Our high power EV charging stations are a critical piece of infrastructure for the electrical grid and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will own critical structural, fluid, and thermal systems that enable our safe, high-performance, and affordable charging stations. You will have direct ownership of subassemblies and will design with attention to cost analysis, design for manufacturing, regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Electric Era engineering leadership to develop high performance hardware and improve your skills.
Electrical Engineering Intern
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to join us in this mission, take ownership of a variety of components of the Electric Era hardware platform, and execute from ideation to in-field operation. Your contributions will be critical to the long-term success of the company. Our company was founded by engineers that wanted to innovate better car refill technology, and we love working all the way from first principles to tinkering with our designs and optimizing for performance, cost, and reliability.
The Electrical Engineering Intern will own key architectural and board level projects that contribute to critical system level milestones and subassembly test campaigns. This technical work will also be complemented by detailed cost analysis, design for manufacturing, and regulatory approval. The Electrical Engineering Intern will work closely with Electric Era engineering and business leadership to define the electrical systems for our products and support product installations in the field.
VP of Production and Supply Chain
Electric Era is hiring a VP of Production to oversee and lead the development of our production and supply chain teams. This role is responsible for making sure that our products are easy and cheap to manufacture at scale, built on time and to high standards of quality, managing the production and supply chain deliverables, and the development of all quality, supply chain, and production processes and systems.
You will work closely with finance, operations, engineering, software, implementation and revenue to ensure the timely delivery of customer orders. You will report weekly to the executive staff on progress and operational efficiency of your organizations. You will be responsible for hiring and team talent development. You will oversee the business relationship and coordinate the supply chain and logistics for a global vendor base in North America, Asia, and Europe.
Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join us in this mission, take ownership in part of the open-ended problem of EV charging infrastructure, and execute the creation of end-to-end software that will level up the industry’s understanding of the charging experience. Your contributions will be critical to the long-term success of the company in making EV fast charging ubiquitous and affordable.
Director of Finance And Operations
As the Director of Finance and Operations, you will oversee all admin, human resources, legal, and financial team functions at Electric Era. You will own the development of all supporting team infrastructure, systems, and processes required to run the financial, HR, and administrative efforts of our rapidly scaling startup.
You will work alongside peers in supply chain, revenue, implementation, software, production and engineering teams on a daily basis building highly functional interfaces that allow the company to scale quickly.
Your team will oversee all financial operations including accounting, financial forecasting and planning, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and end of year tax filings. You will work closely with Electric Era's legal team, third party accounting firms, vendors, customers, executive leadership and investors as part of your daily routine.
Sales Development Rep I
As a Sales Development Representative at Electric Era, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Business Development and will be responsible for driving new business development within the EV charging ecosystem.
Sales Development Rep III
As a Sales Development Representative at Electric Era, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Business Development and will be responsible for driving new business development within the EV charging ecosystem.
EV Charging Site Implementation - Construction Manager
As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the profitable execution of our EV Fast Charging Site Implementation projects under your management including safe, on-time, on budget completion, adherence to corporate and contract compliance, quality control and customer satisfaction.
